The joys of fellowship (and food!)

Tonight I went out for dinner with my Bible study group. We ate at an Italian restaurant. If nothing else, I can make this assertion: I now know where to go when I need a pizza fix.

Culinary matters aside, we all had a great time of conversation and fellowship with each other. I always come away feeling so blessed after hanging out and conversing with these people.

We are all one family, as one particular friend put it, because of our mutual faith in Christ. When we keep that in mind, this makes our fellowship all the more wonderful. We consider each other as brothers and sisters, which leads us to bear with one another and overlook each others’ weaknesses. We can encourage and help one another because of this relationship we have.

Amongst all the enjoyment that comes with good friendship, we should still remember the most important thing: that all this is a blessing from God, through Jesus.

And for that I’m thankful.
